The Summit Source
April 23, 2013
Welcome to the first edition of the Summit Source, your source of information about the 2013 BC Economic Summit, Making the Connection, taking place at the Westin Bayshore, June 23-26, 2013
Communities, industry and EDO's need advanced training and new skills to succeed in the fast-paced world of communications and social networking. We all need a high-performing brand in a world where millions of texts and tweets dominate the discussion. In today's economy, you need to use new technologies (and some tried and true older ideas) to expand connections and relationships within the community, business, government and the profession to become an "in-demand" leader for the next wave of economic growth.
The 2013 BC Economic Summit will explore how to connect to the right resources for career, organizational and business growth. Join other economic development professionals, industry, first nations, local governments, and others as we meet to discuss best practices and how in today's changing economy we must take the steps necessary to ensure that all the pieces connect.
Watch for new editions of the Summit Source leading up to the Summit, to keep yourself up-to-date on important information, reminders and notifications about this exciting event.
